ILYA I. BERENSHTEYN, ESQUIRE

Mr. Berenshteyn is a founding partner of the Senter Law Firm. He worked as an associate in the Richmond, Virginia Law firm of Chaplin, Papa & Gonet, where his practice included Consumer Bankruptcy, Collection, Immigration and Civil Litigation. In 2004, Mr. Berenshteyn was appointed as an Assistant Attorney General in the Virginia Office of the Attorney General, Division of Debt Collection where he represented Virginia Department of Transportation, Virginia Employment Commission and Virginia Commonwealth University Health System Authority d/b/a Medical College of Virginia Hospitals in all aspects of collection law. As an adjunct professor at J. S. Reynolds Community College, in 2006, he taught the new bankruptcy law to associate bachelor degree candidates.
Mr. Berenshteyn was born and raised in the Former Soviet Union and immigrated to the United States in 1990. In 1995, as a first generation Virginian he was naturalized as an American citizen.
